About Jill Sissel and LIz Ficalora
Jill Sissel
Jill Sissel is an award winning songwriter and has been writing and performing her acclaimed Americana/ Blues music in the Nashville area for more than 20 years. Jill leads her band projects, and has played as a side musician for other Nashville artists including Dianne Davidson and Tracy Nelson on the Olivia Alaskan Cruise in 2019.
Originally from Midvale, Utah, Jill moved to Music City with an album under her belt in 1998 and hasn't stopped looking ahead for what's next! During the pandemic, Jill wrote and then worked on a music video called, "Re-Sister" with director Val Whitcomb and that video had an Official Selection with the NewsFest Film Festival, and it won Best Music Video at the 2022 Cinema Systers Film Festival.
Liz Ficalora
Liz Ficalora is a drummer, clinician, teacher, audio engineer, producer, songwriter, and music software designer. She has been playing the drums for 50 years and is a published author with Alfred Publishing.
Honors include writing a First Place Award Winning Jingle for Maxwell House Coffee; Producing an Award-Winning Best Americana Album and Best Contemporary Song by JP Folks Award Show in 2020, and a graduate of the Berklee College of Music.
As a performer, she has extensive performance and touring experience with Stella Parton, Charlie Louvin, Billy Prine, Madame Gandhi, Walter Egan, Carnival Cruise Line, Grand Rivers Variety Shows, Sterling, Calliopes Children Steel Band, The Larry Keeton Theatre, Nashville in Harmony Choir, and the Nashville Celebration Choir.
She has played with Pam Tillis and is currently working with The Sissel/Reid Band in Nashville TN.

Jill Sissel was nominated three times for Americana Album of the Year by Just Plain Folks Music Awards and won BEST AMERICANA ALBUM in 2020
